Every year, Washington City Paper runs a “Best Of DC” issue, and I am proud to announce that Buzzlounge has been voted one of the best recording studios in the DC area! Thank you to all that voted for Buzzlounge in the Best Of DC issue! This is the second consecutive year we have been named in the “Best Of” issue!

I’m so incredibly humbled that this business that I conceptualized in my dorm room has grown and evolved into so much more. Buzzlounge is not a run of the mill recording studio, but a community of tight-knit musicians, friends and clients that are all incredibly passionate about pushing boundaries and making great music. To me, the studio is defined by more than just the room, instruments, and the equipment. To me, the studio is defined by the drive of the people that create in this space.

Since the last year that Buzzlounge was voted a reader’s choice, we have added a number of new services available to clients. Buzzlounge now offers remote drum recording. Send us your songs, no matter where you are in the world, and we can add great sounding drum tracks, performed by a drummer on our great roster of session players.

We have also expanded our video capabilities, offering live video sessions. Nothing quite captures the beauty and emotion of a live performance like a great multitrack recording, paired with gorgeous full HD video. Record live in our gorgeous live-room, and give each member of your band a custom headphone mix. Recording live has never been easier.

I love the work that I am able to do at Buzzlounge, and am so grateful for all the friends, clients, and talented musicians I have been fortunate enough to work with thus far. It is because of you all that we are considered one of the best recording studios. Here’s to another great year! Thank you!
